Playroom and Classroom

Virtual tour

The Playroom is a fun, bright, and safe environment which is designed for children to learn through play. It facilitates the Government's Early Years Foundation Phase, providing 10 hours free education for eligible children. We also offer the 30-hour Tax-free Childcare, provided parents are eligible. The room offers the children different and exciting child-led learning experiences to help develop all the areas of learning. Craft activities, construction games, small world play, role play, books, sand, water, mark making, play dough, messy play and lots more are always out on offer for the children. As ‘In the Moment Planning’ is facilitated, the children make their own choices, to become independent thinkers and learners and we believe that all children have the right to make their own decisions.

We also enjoy the benefits of an outdoor space, which is utilised at every opportunity. Bikes, prams, gardening, insect hunting, painting, water and sand play, jumping in puddles, climbing and building dens are just a few of the activities that we do outdoors!

We are also often out and about enjoying our local facilities such as the park and beautiful scenery around us. We cover a wide range of activities building on and extending children's knowledge, experiences and interests and develops their self-esteem and confidence in their ability to learn. We pride ourselves on offering the children the best care and quality of education possible. We also use a nursery app called the class dojo which staff use to communicate with parents throughout the day sharing photos or comments on their child. It also allows the parents to contact the staff directly with any specific message/instructions relating to their child’s day.
